# Assign a plugin to an agent

> The same assignment as POST /api/v1/agents/{agentId}/plugins, with the same checks: write access to the agent, a plugin of its organization or tenant-wide, and for an enabled OAuth plugin the connected account of the organization. Idempotent: an agent that already holds the plugin keeps its assignment. An archived agent answers 404.
