# Quickstart

> Install 2501 from the files of a build and run your first agent

**1. Get the files**

Download the files of your platform from the Release of the build on [github.com/2501-ai/install](https://github.com/2501-ai/install), and verify their signatures. See [Overview](https://docs.2501.ai/0.19/deployment/overview.md).

**2. Write your settings**

From the examples of the Release: your `values.yaml` on Kubernetes and OpenShift (see [values.yaml](https://docs.2501.ai/0.19/deployment/configuration.md)), or your `.env` on Docker Swarm, with your Command Center host name; the LLM and the first tenant, organizations and administrator are optional.

**3. Create the secrets and apply**

Create the secrets, then apply: the chart rendered with `helm template` and applied with `kubectl` or `oc` on [Kubernetes and OpenShift](https://docs.2501.ai/0.19/deployment/kubernetes.md) (or Helm or ArgoCD if you use them), or `docker stack deploy` on [Docker Swarm](https://docs.2501.ai/0.19/deployment/docker-swarm.md).

**4. Open Command Center**

Sign in at your Command Center URL with the administrator's email and the password you put in its secret. The first run has created the LLM provider and model from your settings; add the others in [LLM providers and models](https://docs.2501.ai/0.19/deployment/llm-providers.md). Then register your first host, attach an agent, and send a task.
