2501 login

Sign in to your Command Center instance.
The command prompts interactively for email and password - the same credentials you use to sign in to the Command Center web UI. The session is persisted to your local config so subsequent commands (chat, runner-v2) re-use it without prompting. When the account has two-factor authentication enabled, login also asks for a code from your authenticator app or a backup code. Run this from a terminal so you can enter the code. The CLI commands on this page use a saved login session. For unattended access with an API key, call the public API. On a tenant that uses single sign-on only, password login through 2501 login works for the recovery account only. Other users sign in through SSO in Command Center; an API key can be used for public API requests.

2501 status

Confirm which instance the CLI is pointing at and who is signed in.
Shows the configured API URL, the signed-in user and role, inventory counts, and activity statistics for the selected organization. Use --org <org_id> to select an organization. To display the CLI version, run 2501 --version.
